The Wausau Daily Herald is seeking nominations for 2009 Person of the Year and 2009 Young Person of the Year. The criteria for each award are simple: The Person of the Year must be older than 18 and must have made a significant impact in north central Wisconsin during this calendar year. The Young Person of the Year must be 18 years old or younger and also must have made a significant local impact since Jan. 1.
Nominations must be received no later than noon on Friday, Nov. 20. Winners will be announced in late December.
