Little House in the Big Woods When the author,Laura Ingalls- Wilder was in her fifties she began to write down memories of her childhood. This is the first book that was published when she was 65 years old. It talks about their life throughout the seasons. From the cold, snow-filled winters to hard field work to Pa's hunting for food. It wasn't the most dramatic book I've read, but a "Little House" fan would enjoy it.
